“I am a soprano and choir leader from Cardiff currently living in Manchester. Alongside my work as a soloist, I lead a community choir in Eccles, am a leader for The Halle's workplace choir scheme, and manage the Wrexham-based community chorus NEW Voices. I love using opera to empower communities and tell relevant and relatable stories as I have been able to do with Welsh National Opera's outreach programme and most recently through premiering the opera 'Gresford: Up From Underground'.
As a Welsh-language speaker, I take every opportunity to use, and promote the language. I am an avid reader and am currently reading lots of non-fiction feminist books, although my all-time favourite is Les Misérables. I also love wild-swimming and spending time in the remote corners of the Hebrides!”
