BYO alumni join the Jette Parker programme
Talia Stern and Emyr Jones have secures places on the Royal Ballet and Opera’s programme for young professionals.

Talia was on last year’s opera directing programme, and the creative brain behind our acclaimed The Rape of Lucretia. Emyr joined our summer singers programme in 2022 and 2023 and performed in both Sir John in Love and The Pilgrim’s Progress.
The Royal Ballet and Opera’s Jette Parker Artists Programme is one of the most sought after opportunities in the opera world. Singers, directors and music staff are offered the chance to join the national institution for two years as full time, salaried employees. Some big names have come through the programme over the last 24 years, so getting a place means a lot to young professionals.
Huge congratulations to both of them, and we can’t wait to see what they next.
