We're off to the Three Choirs Festival

We’ve got big news about this summer – we’re taking our summer showcase to Gloucester.

When we were invited to take part in this year’s Three Choirs Festival, we knew we couldn’t say no – it would be a chance for our participants to be involved in one of the most well-respected classical music festivals in the world and to work alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. So we said yes, obviously.

This July you’ll be able to see us perform Vaughan Williams’ The Pilgrim’s Progress at Gloucester Cathedral – a special showcase performance to conclude a month of intensive workshops and rehearsals in London. We’ll be training singers, stage managers, directors and music staff, who’ll all be working with our usual expert mentors.

It’s always great to see BYO alumni doing well, and we’re particularly excited to have Charlotte Corderoy as our conductor this year. Charlotte was a participant on our music staff programme last year and she’s already back as a member of our professional team!

Tickets go on sale to the public on 26 April.
